Many are still wondering what they going to do for the rest of this year, asking themselves what have they done differently, and will they do differently for the remainder of 2011, because they’ve have fallen short with their goals! Allow me to reaffirm, I believe the past filled with its challenges and adversities, has assisted us in cultivating and planting seeds of abundance, in order to bring forth the fruits of our labor. Some of us had to experience our break-downs and break-throughs before we were able to awaken and open our eyes to see and receive those blessings, which are always ready to abundantly flow into our lives. What I would like to convey is with all of the shifts approaching our lives on a daily basis, we have to clear and deprogram our minds of the old debri and baggage of the past and carry only the lessons that we’ve learned into the future and create New Beginnings on the path of our journey.
Our lives will always shift without warning, sometimes the effects of those shifts can be life changing to most, but ultimately the key is knowing the things that we cannot control can only bring lessons to help direct us into the next phase of our journey. Think of the many natural disasters that often happen without warning and in spite of the damage left behind, most pick up the pieces, embrace their blessings and create New Beginnings. I am not saying these new beginnings come without work but the transformations that we experience is beyond human comprehension. All we need to do is believe and have faith in that which we cannot see with the human eye, and the rest will follow…!
Today reminds me of how important it is to recognize and remember who we are, as we move forward each step of this journey called life. As we become entrapped and caught in the web of our everyday lives, we tend to forget there is an inner world that’s calling for attention. Although independence means different things for different people, the fact still remains that at some point or time in everyone’s life, they yearn the feeling of independence. Sometimes we may feel trapped in a relationship or a job and we are not certain on how to break free, but remember we always have a choice. What we all must recognize is, at anytime we choose we can break free from any situation, that’s holding us hostage. Did you know that 235 years ago America declared its independence from Great Britain, yet to this day there are individuals who are still living as prisoners within themselves? But most importantly and sadly enough, they also choose to live enslaved to systematic incarceration, allowing their American Dream to get lost and eventually buried along with them.
Independence means we grab hold of our dreams never allowing anything to rob or steal what we truly desire for our lives. It means no relationship should be a sacrifice to giving up the gifts we’ve been blessed and given to receive in this life. No job should be an endless sacrifice that determines our worth and steals our destiny, only to realize 20 years later we have little or nothing to show for our sacrifices. We can literally achieve anything we desire in this life, yet very few ever actually independently stand in that truth. Most run and hide behind their mask of fear and despair, denying who they are truly meant to be and all they are truly meant to receive. Whatever Independence may mean to you, I extend the challenge to reach deep into your being and discover your truth! Become an independent individual in your own right and never allow anyone or anything to steal your joy or infect your attitude. Lead your life by example, with resilience; flexibility and an open mind that keeps you focused, committed and true to all of whom you are.
